Chet Harding Bio
Born and raised in Wenham, Massachusetts, Chet Harding is an entrepreneur, a branding & leadership consultant, a comedian, and an actor.
He first developed a love for performing in high school where he regularly attend talent nights. From there, Chet enrolled at Amherst College, a liberal arts college in Massachusetts. During his sophomore year, he began doing stand-up comedy. A second-place finish at the Boston Comedy Riots competition led to more and more stand-up gigs at nearby colleges, all while earning a degree in Environmental Economics and Law.
After graduating magna cum laude in 1992, Harding moved to Chicago to work for Leo Burnett, an international advertising agency based out of Illinois. While living in the Windy City, Chet joined Second City and began taking improv classes. Four years later, an opportunity at ‘Polaroid’ brought him back home to Boston.
With two fellow comedians, Chet took out a small business loan and launched Improv Asylum, an improv comedy theater in the north end of Boston. The success of the theater led him to quit his corporate job and focus on comedy full-time. Now, Chet is a successful serial entrepreneur who has dedicated his career to helping artists hone their skills. Furthermore, Chet also provides one-of-a-kind corporate training to facilitate better internal communication.
